NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS
O termo RESOLUTION se refere à uma firme decisão de se fazer ou não se fazer algo. Nesta época, é muito comum as pessoas refletirem sobre o ano que finda, e fazerem planos ou mesmo prometerem para si mudanças. In other words, they MAKE RESOLUTIONS.
Quando queremos MAKE RESOLUTIONS, podemos usar verbos como WANT, INTEND, PLAN, PROMISE ou mesmo, de uma forma mais polida, usar WOULD LIKE.
Em todos os casos listados acima, podemos acrescentar um verbo com a partícula TO. Exemplo: I'd like TO go back to the gym.
Por fim, se a decisão é firme, pode-se também utilizar a estrutura BE(AM, IS, ARE) + GOING TO + verbo para fazer suas RESOLUTIONS.
