BFMTV, one of the major news broadcasting networks in France, announced on its homepage the death of a presumably (although not confirmed) 13-year old Moroccan boy who was run over by a car in Montpellier.

There are fears that the death, which is already being described as a "martyrdom" on social media, could lead to a new wave of riots across France's cities from immigrant communities.
