Porém essa foto foi tirada de um avião comercial que se aproximava do ponto de destino (https://petapixel.com/2019/11/25/photographer-captures-seattle-lined-up-with-mt-rainier/). não há como saber a altitude exata do avião no momento da foto, mas é possível deduzir pelos prédios (o mais alto da cidade é o Columbia Center com aprox. 285m) creio que algo como 500m é suficiente.

A 500 metros de altitude e 100 quilômetros de distância, a "queda" é de apenas 30 metros, diferente dos 700 que a foto alega (700m é no nível do mar), por isso é possível ver a montanha inteira.

Inclusive, é possível ver o explendor do monte a partir da cidade mesmo, sem necessidade de altas altitudes. Aberto / Como
